Looking for roomate for Denver MMI. Am working the staff end of the event. I have a room across the street, but need to find a place for the night of the 11th, leaving Monday morning. Quiet, non-smoking woman. THe Hyatt is 139 for 3 nights, maybe more. Comfort Inn 5 blocks away is 112, and about 8 blocks away is 75/pm.

I contacted Caroline about my dilemma of timeliness, had to make a decision within a certain window of availability. The Hyatt Regency is cancelled, I am now going to be at the Broadway Plaza Inn, 75/pm, the night of the 11th, staying with one of the Krew at her house, and coming back to the Inn the night of the 15th to fly out the next day. That is the closest place I can find at a reasonable rate, about 10 blocks. Walking to the event may be the only exercise option. THe Comfort Inn is 112, 5 blocks, but our proximity to the start of event may have changed that rate too.

Part of me is hesitant to room with a male, though I have heard of such on the forum and that it can work out. I will probably still stay with the Krew lady, for 3 nights, save a little $. What are your thoughts?

That's what I can tell you for now. I hear we are going to be very busy and won't be sleeping much, I would guess.

Post your request to the roster at large as well, you may be able to stay with someone at their home.

Why don't you email me at riverrun25@yahoo.com, and we can get off this forum and exchange #'s and talk about options.

Worst case is simply showing up and asking the Krew. Caroline says on occasion a student comes to registration without a place to stay! That is way more gutsy than I like to play it, but I'm sure it works. I realized Caroline may already have left for the week, there are two MMI's this weekend.

Are you lately added on and just getting hooked in?
